I design mechanical systems that solve the problems other people avoid. From winning the FIRST Robotics World Championship to graduating from MIT with the highest score in 2.007 (Intro to Design and Manufacturing), I’ve built a career around creating elegant, manufacturable, and cost-effective solutions for complex engineering challenges.
Over the last decade, I’ve led the design of everything from autonomous ocean vessels for the DoD to industrial automation equipment, medical devices, and robotics platforms. My experience spans deep CAD/FEA work, hand calculations, design reviews, and hands-on CNC prototyping—through my own machine shop, I can even fabricate custom parts on-demand for rapid iteration.
My approach blends technical rigor (ASME/ANSI compliant, PE licensed) with design intuition and business alignment. I’ve reverse-engineered flawed products for clients, mentored award-winning engineering teams, and led multidisciplinary efforts to bring new ideas from napkin sketch to field-tested prototype.
