The Engineers

About Our Team

7572 was originally started in 2013 by a high-school student as a way to teach middle school kids in Mountain Home, AR about robotics. While most of our current members have robotics experience, we are originally from FRC/VEX teams and completely new to FIRST Tech Challenge.

As a newly revived FTC team, we are currently in the process of rebuilding, rebranding, and working to use the skills we learned in FRC/VEX to re-establish the team in Alma, AR, and teach kids in Northwest Arkansas and the River Valley about STEM.

What is FIRST Tech Challenge?

FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) is a robotics competition program for middle and high school students, as part of a global nonprofit organization called FIRST.

FTC challenges students to design, build, and program a robot to complete specific tasks on a themed playing field, fostering their skills in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). This program not only encourages technical innovation but also emphasizes values such as teamwork, professionalism, and gracious professionalism. FTC provides students with hands-on experience in engineering, robotics, and life skills, serving as a stepping stone to further STEM exploration and education.
